can you use rolloff truck as a dump truck?

    i dont see why you cant use a roll off truck as a dump truck. thanks as always

    How do you think they empty the containers once full?? That's all rolloffs are- basically dumps with removable bodies and side-swinging doors.....LOL

    To the OP- I would think as long as you're careful opening the door when full (and making sure it's secure before dumping...LOL) it would be just fine. I mean, that's what they're supposed to do!

    Without going in to much detail,you can change the doors on the roll off to work with a airpiston.
    A curled hose with a quick connector to a line that is activated from inside the cab.
    You would only need to get out off the cab to close the doors.

    I noticed the roll off in the video was a top hinged door which to me is a lot safer

    Yes you can but your tare weight will be heavier as far as the door no problem same type as scrap dump trailers no big deal as your standing on the side when u open door and if it doesnt open just use a pry bar while on the side,piece of cake like chocolate.
