I've always carried a lock pick set in my wallet. It's paid for itself many times over now.

I know a guy that locked both doors of a T600 KW at a TS. He called a locksmith LOL. I guess when the locksmith showed up the KW driver next to him showed him how to open the bunk door.

Have locked myself out of ervery truck I've driver since 1998. Always have multiple spare keys somewhere. On my belt, in my wallet, squirreled away on the truck itself. Plus the key that never leaves the ignition.
If someone wants to steal my truck, they are gonna steal it no matter what I do. At least I can try to limit the damage they do when they steal it. And maybe get it back without a destroyed ignition or trashed dash. -
I carry one on a Necklace.
Paid a locksmith once. Never again. -

I learned this lesson on a negative temperature night in Indiana. Got out of the truck while it was running to go to the bathroom and when I went to get back in realized I had gotten out minus everything!! Phone, keys, wallet, all of it!! The lady in the truck stop let me use the phone to call home and get someone to look up my company's phone number. I called them and they sent a locksmith an hour and a half later. From then on I kept a key on a hook on my belt loop. Worked like a charm.
