I want to relocate to San Antonio. I decided to get my name and qualifications out there, and received more than 50 job offers..I highly recommend utilizing the Independent Recruiters as they have a vested interest in finding you a job. F' the bottom feeders - My path is clear...

Reminds me of "The Jeffersons" TV show and their song, "Movin' on up"

No, no, it was from the TV show "Movin' On". I heard this truck had an automatic, as neither one could shift a truck and they never showed them shifting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oSzdv5PBamE

We're both correct; two songs from two shows.

"Movin' On" and "Movin' on Up"

Interplanet Janet will be so proud!

They may have never showed them shifting, but automatics came out in the mid 90's unless my CRS is acting up

13 speed. You seriously think 'ol Claude couldn't shift????? The show truck (not the pilot episode) had a VT903 with a 13 spd.

Allison made the 1st 4 speed automatic for up to 72,000 lbs. in 1971, the HT-740. In '73, Allison introduced the 1st fully automatic for trucks, the CLBT 750. ( Wikipedia) I knew a guy in the 70's with a gimpy left leg that had an Allison automatic in a Mack dump truck. It was nothing but problems.
