I only have 4 months of experience. I was driving a car hauler(9 car) regional.
i move to chicago now. And i have 2 work offers but i cant choose because a i dont have enough experience.
1.- driving a dumpster only local only chicago area
.the truck is old and rough. this company said his average drivers make 1200 week and more...
2.- another company have only otr at least 21 days in the road (i dont have wife. No kids. No so much problem stay in the road)
This company start paying .42c the mille and average have 3000 milles week
have 2013 trucks small fleet only 40 truck. Russian owners
paper logs
i can choose from dry van .reefer . Or flat bed
Please give me a advice i have to make the choice saturday at firts hour

Dumpster is seasonal in Chicago. Otr is not but dump stays pretty busy all year I prefer dump being home daily..... since I won't live in the truck it won't bother me it's beat up.

Why not pick a company with good equipment and benefits. Neither job you're looking at is good. Dozens of companies to choose from.
