If recent possible but over a yr old not likely.

If you didn't receive a ticket how does it show up on you MVR?

Good question.Im a perfect driver so I don't know, lol. Can you give details about the accident? How long ago did it happen?Did you receive a police report?I think if it occurred on private property and no police were involved it won't show up on your record. But if you received a police report then yes it will go on your MVR.

A guy cut into my lane and stopped in the lane He admitted fault to me and the cop and it is in the report ( his coffee spilled and he panicked braked). He received a citation for careless driving and i received one in the mail a week later for following too close..which i was not doing. I fought it and the judge dismissed the case but it still shows on my mvr. I was going to call the lawyer that went to court with me to see what she thinks.

You do not have to receive a ticket in order for an accident to be placed on your driving record. Some states have accidents that are reported by police directly entered into the DMV records and attached to your record, and it seems that your state is one of them.
Trying to get it off of there most of the time means getting a lawyer and trying to get things removed.
Good luck on that. It can be a 50/50 depending when your lawyer does go in front of a judge to appeal it if he is in a good mood or not.X-Country Thanks this. -
Call your DMV and see what the rules are on that.
I had a speeding ticket dismissed and it shows on my MVR.
I'm calling them this week to try and get it removed.... -

I was involved in a pile up of 6 tractors and I was #5 we all got tickets for following to close in a cmv. This happened in a southern state, But in my state of Colorado they put no accident and no points just the violation. Its been 3 years and for Colorado in stays on for 7 years. It doesn't bother me Because I'm employed and driving for a great company that gives me a ton of over time. (worked 74 hours last week). Being a hourly union employee isn't too bad.
If something happens with this company I'm sure since 3 years is passed I'll be able to get on with another company especially since I'm willing to unload my trailer.mje Thanks this.
