now that the dust has settled with my former employer... yesterday i took a job doin a dedicated run outa montana into southern cali and back to mont . with produce for a small fleet .
i havent run cali in many years and have forgot more than i know about it .
are the roads still fallin apart ?
how fast can ya run without havin a prob with the law ?
is cali dot still hard to get along with ?

i run 60 and never been pulled over. most chp fly by. had a few pace me down to 55 but never pulled over. i-5 is rougher than 99. but you're coming from montana,so mostly i-15 you be on. which is pretty nice. 40 ft kingpin to rear axle in cali.

No more Flasher's on hills.. Emergency only.. Still see drivers use them.. They don't seem to enforce it yet

my inbound load goes to city of industry and my outbound will come out of salinas or yuma depending on the time of year ...this is like goin to mars for an ex nyc area meat hauler lol.
the produce goes back to missoula and bozeman then home mon . and tues ..
nice equipment and good pay . -
You can get away with 60 mph. I always waited at Barstow until the scales at cajone closed. Then I'd go on in.
