Its your 6th reweigh. There is no legal way to leave the truckstop. The shipper is only 5 miles away but they close at 9 and dont open until the morning. On top of that your boss and dispatcher are both basically trying to force you to keep it moving instead of wait for the morning to get it reworked. What would you do?

I got in a pissing match with my boss for a good 20 mins he kept trying to push me. I finally told him fire me, dont fire me, do whatever you gotta do but this load isnt moving until the morning.

If you get fired cause of that, you'll find another job without problem. Yes, I would do the same thing, if I know I'll be driving through weigh stations.

50 lbs, really? you got into a contest and held up your load for 50 lbs.

You could even give the scalemaster the finger and he wouldn't screw with you over 50lbs.

Just drive the truck driver, just drive the truck.

I would have run it out. Scales will vary that much anyways.

    50lbs? Did you mean 500lbs?

If the former, you're basically saying that you got into a pissing contest with your boss over 50lbs over on the trailer tandems... ???

Your scale ticket reads 34,050lbs and you're willing to get fired over that? Because you want it to be reworked? For 50 lbs?

    For. Fifty. Pounds?

Don't the cat scales have a margin of error anyway? Even so I'd move the #### load and wouldn't worry about it.

You have to be kidding me!!! Your fine. Nobody is going to give you any crap about that. The margin for error on a DOT scale is MUCH higher then 50 pounds!!!

Man you're smarter than this. I know you are. Please tell me that you didn't get into a pissing match over 50 pounds.
