It is 2 lane from Paducah to Charleston,Mo. There are 2 long narrow bridges over near Cairo,Il. that 60 crosses. Other than that 60 in Mo. is mostly 4 lane. 1 scale over near Cabool. I do not mind running that way, you just have to slow way down on those bridges.

I ran it once about a year ago. All I remember is its pretty narrow around the river. If I remember correctly, it's a 2-lane bridge crossing the Mississippi with a couple tight curves on either side.

90% of the trip is 65 mph highway. I used to do this trip all of the time when I was on bass pro shop dedicated with Werner. All of the trips were from Springfield, MO to Macon, GA and vice versa. From Paducah, KY to Cairo, IL, the trip is mostly back roads, so be careful there. Also mind your p's and q's crossing the bridge over the Ohio River, it's very narrow but doable. From the Missouri border to Springfield, the rest of the trip is really easy. I think there's like 4 or 5 traffic lights on that whole 200 something miles stretch. It's not a bad route at all.
RubyEagle Thanks this. -
Crap ..Thanks guys. I think I've been across the paducah to I-55 part .looks 4 lane for awhile then back to 2 mostly across the woods ...

I thought signed up last week saying that highway was closed from Kentucky over to Missouri you might want to check
GreenMonster9669 Thanks this. -
You summed it up. When you get off the Levee in Mo. and the road flattens and straightens out, watch your speed all the way to I55. Local sits way up the road ckg. your speed.
