This is a bad law. I would like to see the number of fatalities, number of trucks involved in accidents and number of truck accidents (especially rear end crashes) that occurred before and after ON and QC implemented their speed limiter laws.

I would bet they are all higher since speed limiters took over the speed of the truck. There is more truck accidents, more trucks per accident and more fatalities due to the inevitable tailgating that this causes

    1. Speedlimiters don't work when you go into a curve at 55 mph when it's rated for 35.

    2. MOST accidents happen under 65 mph.

    3. The ATA isn't for the small trucking companies.

    4. They only represent 5% of the trucking industry, who put them in charge?

    5. The President of the ATA is a politician, nuff said.

    6. It's not my ATA, they want all the small companies gone.
