almost any hardware store makes Freightliner keys
-
I generally get dupes made at Home Depot, although the right Wal-mart auto center can do it if they have the same blanks and cartridge for the machine that cust from the pattern (your key). The local hardware store can sometimes cut them but they mostly don't have the computerized machine.
Some dealers can cut a key from your VIN,and I would expect locksmiths to be able to do the same. Be advised that not all dealers are set up, anymore, as most also use computerized machines now. -
Walmart won't cut Volvo truck keys as they can't find the match in their book despite the fact I assured them the Chrysler blank works.
-
I haven't had much luck getting Wal-mart to do them, which is why I said 'the right Wal-mart'. The local Wal-mart won't even look at the key
Last one I had done there was for a 2006 Columbia and that blank was different than a 2008 Columbia.Cascadia is different again, and so is the M class. -
well the corner hardware store has made me keys for my Cascadia
my 93 mercedes with its strange key
and my ford pu even thou it is suppose to be ford exclusive for like $200 -
Ace is the place with the friendly hardware folks... -
I'd try Ace or Home Depot or Walmart before trying a dealer. -
