Well, ...... no.
They did away with snail mail years ago
when they came out with something better --
Pony Express.

And isn't California mostly downhill from your home-20?

Should be a breeze for a few good riders to
legally log.

Just don't put a "Forever" stamp on it.
I think that means it takes longer.

Just put a consent form in the mail and it's headed for ya.

And dagnabbit if it wasn't one of those forever stamps!

Feel free to give me a call or a PM if you have any questions.

Cheers, and thanks for your help and participation.

*****An obvious plug*****

Hey, y'all, if any of you have read through all this and you're still not convinced, let me tell you I finished the interview and I'm still in one piece! Really, it's hardly an ordeal, just like talking on the phone with a friend who doesn't know much about our job and is interested in knowing more. So let's help the guy out, huh? He's on our side!

Thanks for the positive feedback.

It was a pleasure talking with you, and thanks so much for the opportunity!

I'm still in need of more participants, and will be for the next few years. (gasp!)

Anyone please feel free to send me a PM with any questions or concerns.

And thanks to all of those folks who have been so supportive.

Hey Dan if you are interested in diving into the realms of driving up north of 60 I would be more than happy to have an interview with you.

I support what you are doing as alot of the non-trucking world has no idea what we have to go through.

You know, I haven't entertained the thought of including international drivers, but why not! Especially since you folks face such extreme conditions. I'll send you a PM with my contact information, and thanks for being interested in the study.

Yes, I also believe that the public has no clue that the average driver works 70+ hours per week, can't idle to keep cool at night, and can spend many weeks out of the month away from home. Thanks to all of you folks for doing what you do.

sweat shop on wheels?

sounds to me like you are unhappy with your job!! I wake up every morning looking forward to going to work. more than 34 off and I start getting cabin fever. I can't imagine not getting to drive. Might be why I don't plan on retireing till I can't pass the dot anymore.
