You'll more than likely have to wait until the accident clears off your MVR, which'll take a few years. That's the way it is, unfortunately. If it weren't that way, people wouldn't be as careful and careless wrecks would become common. At least this is what insurance companies will say.

There's a great school for learning how to drive heavy EQ out Vegas way. You can learn how to drive all the big equipment in one class. If you want to go further, you can even learn how to operate cranes. You'll pay about double for this school what you will at a trucking training mill, though. No matter. I'd still go this route over trucking today. Check into getting grants through the WIA, as you may qualify for some sort of retraining aid.

I'd go to the heavy EQ school today, as I could get a job in other countries operating cranes and such when the US economy goes south.
