I need to replace the fuse for the cig lighter but cannot find the fuses. There is something there under the glove box but it only has 3 fuses and none are for the lighter.
Anyone have a 387 and know where the fuse box is?

what are you driving ?

Um a peterbilt 387 2007

It should be on drivers side by the clutch pedal. If not there, look in the owners manual, if it's in the truck. If not I would call Roadbreakdown, they should be able to tell you where it's at.

Check under the passenger side bunk door. Stick your head in and look all the way toward the pass. seat. There are 2 inline fuses for the cig. lighter there. One is not used unless you have 2 lighters in your dash. Peterbilt mechanics couldn't find it. I located them out of flustration. Good Luck !

This thread is over two years old.. If she hasn't found her fuses yet I think we're in trouble.. -
I'm not sure on a Pete. Freightliner's have a fuse box lid on the passenger side dash, and another fuse box (for cig light and other acc.) just behind the driver seat in the side wall. A bit of a pain in the ### to get to and have to fold and slide the seat all the way forward to get into it. I know this is of no help for the OP but will be of use to anyone else driving a Freightliner Century or Columbia.

Thanks Ken, I was doing a search for myself and ran across this thread. I was excited I knew the answer and could help someone else. I didn't notice the top left corner. Merry Christmas and Thank-you for Serving. Mark

387 is behind the glove box. Just open it, unhook the two high dollar plastic cables and the glove box will drop down where you can remove it.
Pound Puppy Thanks this.
