people climbing on my truck....

drivers. i need to no what to do when people climb up on my truck...
here is what has happened, its only happened 2 times so far.
I have been driving 4 months now, and about 2 months ago i was pulling out of a parking lot after making a delivery. while slowly driving through the parking lot, which was full of people. kids, and cars this guy came up to me and climbed up on my steps, driver side, and started to offer me directions, i did not ask anyone for directions to anywhere, he just started telling me how to get someplace. i didnt come to a complete stop, but i did keep rolling, and was yelling for him to get off of my truck, and that i will not stop!!! after some yelling, and screaming from me, and by the time i got out to the street and started to make the turn he finally jumped off.
2nd.
just this past week i was down in MD, at the TA in baltimore. and i was sitting there in my seat, doing my paper work, saw this guy who did not appear to have a " truck driver look " to him, so i just locked my door, and had my window down only half way.
my truck was running, so he helped himself up onto my step, on the driver side, and started to explain to me that he was " cool, and not a bad person " and went on to explain that he was stuck there, and needed a ride out to Tennessee and he was waiting for a driver, and wanted to no if he would use my radio to call him and see when he would be ready, i told him that i never use it and that its not tuned properly. and he asked if he could at lease give it a shot.
i no i should not have done this, but i started to hand him my mic, through the window, still halfway up. and as i was handing him the mic, he started to pull rather hard on my window. i told him to stop pulling on it, and then he decided to pull a lil harded. then asked me if he could come up on the pass side, i told him no. and he asked again, and again i said no, he can stay where he is, and then began pullin on the window again, and after really yelling at him again and he would still not let go of the window, i flipped down to chan. 9 and said " any troppers got their ears on please come down to the TA truck stop in balitmore, iv got a guy trying to rip my window out. released the mic, and to my disbelief i got a response, once he heard someone respond he took off running. i did not hear what the responce was, but after he took off running, i heard the mic que in again, annouced the name on my truck, and then realized it was still on chan 9. turns out there was a driver wacthing what was taken place. and happen to be on chan 9 for what ever reason. he told me that was a good idea going to chan 9,
but i wanna no from the experienced driver if someone has ever climbed up on your truck what you did, or what you wish you should have done.??? cause i dont see me hitting someone, having them call the police, having me arrested and loosing my job.....

Pull out my 2 pound sledge nicknamed "tire thumper" from under my seat and introduce it to his face.

I saw on here, that mace is illegal in some states. BUT Blackflag wasp and hornet spray is legal in all 50 and has the same effect.

I see it this way....Would I let a stranger climb on my house without permission? Would I let a neighbor climb on my house without permission? Would I allow anyone from the local government (and that includes the law) climb on my house without my permission? Well, my truck is my home and the same answer applies to it...NO!

No one climbs on my truck without my permission...no one. Years ago I got stopped in Wells, NV by the NHP and a new trooper climbed on the truck. I told him nicely to please step down. He asked why and I said "How would you feel about me stepping up on the hood of your cruiser or climbing up on your house"? He replied "Oh, alright...I understand." If someone (other than a peace officer) wouldn't get off my truck when I politely told him/her/it to get off - then out comes the tire buddy.

I know it has only happened to Rick a few times. DOT seems to be the ones that does it the most to him.
