Forbidden Exclamation Check your load BEFORE leaving!!!

Hopefully this link will work, I found this video and thought this might help Newbs understand why you want to be careful pulling away from a dock, EVEN if they have given you a green light! Check it out...

Oh yeah, that was pretty stupid of the dock guy to be trying to put more freight on the trailer even after the dock plate was raised.

I wanna know where is load securement was? I mean you have those bars that secure loads, and if you don't, sheesh it's a Target they gotta have twine or at least some sort of rope to secure it. I'm new and I am willing to bet I will make mistakes but I know I won't make that one!!!

Jedi TEv- I was thinking the same thing. And Panhandle, you're right, to fit the last few pieces in, they may have had to remove the dock plate. But usually, you can leave the dock lock on in those situations- and if the dock guys could have, I bet they wished they had. Or given clear instructions to the driver. Or chocked his trailer tires. Or made him drop the trailer.Or taken his keys (like Sam's Club does, for live unloads/loads).

One load lock and this video would not be here to amuse us...

And quit pickin' on Swift drivers! They do enough to amuse (and frighten) everyone without stealing someone else's thunder!

Are you serious?? there's no way that was staged!!! lol And I am only playing about Swift. I am a new driver too so I can't really say much. I am just joking about being Swift. I didn't see a red cab, maybe I'll look again.
