If you are being hired for a certain route you might want to find out when the contract is up for bid again. Wouldn't want to be there a short time and they loose the contract.

I've been with B&B since April and I am very happy with them, I work 40 hours, I gross $1000 and I love being home everyday. They treat the drivers fair and there is a union. I see myself staying until retirement.

Or until the company gets underbid on your route. It's happened to me, with another company. I work foodservice now, money is better but the work is harder.

got a question? I have seen R&F trucking when I used to work out of Nashua NH with S&J trucking, I was wondering where they were from? I been seeking to find another mail contractor company, are they hiring? I haven't been driving a truck since Feb 2011 (got laid off), But went to Parker driving school paid some money to drive a tractor trailer, and I still can drive a truck well? any Advice?
thanks (been driving handicap children since Jan 2012, but really want to get back to truck driving) I live in Marlboro, ma. and Taunton is an easy commute?

Not real familiar with the east coast mail hauling companies, but I can say pay attention to the mail trailers on the interstates near you and you can pretty much find out which companies haul mail in your area. Or find a mail processing center and chat with the drivers. If you have been out of a truck for more then 12 months you might need to start back out with another company to get your proficiency back, a lot of mail hauling companies require a certain number of time behind the wheel before they will hire. Best of luck,
