Companies With all Peterbilt Fleets

Ok I knew sooner than later a comment like that was gonna come. I don't remember asking anything about who was driving what, or what I wanted to drive, or what I drive. I don't remember saying anything about money, or benefits now that I think about it. I simply asked about fleets that were pretty much exclusively Petes. So thanks for the lecture , but if you don't want to contribute an answer to the original question...please step away from the thread, sir...............................Ok, I'm probably gonna get spanked for that....oh well

 

Just askin a simple question gentlemen.........Why do you wan to take it where it wasn't mean't to go??

 

Don't remember askin for anyone's opinion either.....And the "because we can" attitude is pretty impressive also. Just ask a really simple question about fleets, now we're talkin about Pete dashes...hummmmm

 

We'll guys number one I'm not lookin for a job, been workin at a pretty good one for what's it been ahhhhh....dang 24 years. Lookin forward to maybe 2 or 3 more at full time, then I'm thinkin I'll just be a hobbie trucker maybe. Actually what I was really thinking was that I'd snag an old Pete from some ones fleet, if I could find what I was lookin for, and just kick back, sip some beers, listen to some ZZ Top, and do some tinkerin. Do a little rebuildin, and stretchin, and dollin it up, "just cuz I can" . So the question came from that thought. A relatively simple thought. A little research and development type of thang. I was searchin thru a bunch of other threads, lookin for things on the subject I posted this thread about. I started noticing a trend developing, there's actually a bunch of Pete haters on this forum, and it looks as though if ya say anything about a Pete with a hood, or that other PACCAR product made out of rejected Pete parts( Not hatin, just teasin) ya gotta make sure you include a disclaimer, or something of the sort. I was lookin at one from IROC Girl wantin to go O/O, and she was having to defend herself for sayin that her and her old man wanted a Hood, there are plenty more, but this is gettin too long so I won't go there. Hope ya get my point here now, I come back to look at what's goin on here on this thread and it's starting up here. I think it's just sad that you want to thump on people just cuz they like Hoods. So you like a Volvo or whatever, I ain't gonna give ya grief for that, rock on, whatever floats yer thang!! I do savy all that aerodynamics thing, and the dollars and cents thing. Also definitely take what ever jobs best for you if you're needing a job, and surely don't drive a pete if ya don't like them. There, have I bowed down low enough yet, defending my thread? Brickman commented about wives, well that's kinda what some of you guys remind me of, ya just like ta cause bickerin, "cuz ya can".......Whatever! Me I just wanna have a good time, when I got the time. And no my blood pressure don't rise over petty crap like that, but I got to admit, a really evil grin crossed over my face when ya started your lectures...... So there ya go, drive what ya gotta drive, do something that makes your heart, and soul feel good, and have a good time.............but most of all, set that seat way down low, stretch out your legs, and enjoy the ride.................oh crap!!!! now their gonna call me a cowboy, er supertrucker etc...whatever, I'm diggin it
