Should I be worried that I could read all of this and understand it?

Right on topic... Just the same as every other thread here. We talk on topic, just not the original topic!

Ok, so Soon is right, we need to get back to the topic.

When we are lucky enough to actually get our CDL, go to work for a company, and get a route, one that goes through heavy snows(the big Passes etc)what do most truckers use for weather forcast? I am thinking ODOT. And then, say we are headed for that pass and it says chance of snow. We do head on into it because it says "chance" of snow right? So we have to be prepared to chain up, pull over, or whatever(turn back?)

In my way of thinking, you can't predict how bad it will get so you have to try. Just trying to get this thread back on snow and ice, so maybe you should chain up, lol Somebody thump me on the head with, what was it, a sledge hammer Oh well, nevermind, i'll just drink another cup of coffee.

That's ok, we got about all the info you can get about snow and ice anyway and if folks were having a little fun I am not gonna gripe. The "powers that be" might. In that case I'll see you in the "forum pokie" terrie
