| For other newbies like me reading this and other threads about drivers' reported hours and log book entries, the following resources were helpful in my understanding of these excellent discussions: Sample driver's daily log on JJ Keller website: [LINK POSTED BY MEMBER] Only Members Can View This Truck Forum Link. | You need to get to a better company. Last week I ran 66.5 hours (about that in real time), 2824 hub miles (2525 paid miles) and I made about $1100 gross. which breaks down to $16.98/hr. I don't bust my hump working 80+hours a week and no one should. You can cheat the log book, but I hope your book is in order if you have an accident. God forbid that'll happen but if it does, their lawyers will be all over that log book looking for any discrepancy. They'll subpoena Quallcomm records, phone records, text records, anything to blame you. If anything, your experiment shows that there are companies out there that will not pay drivers a fair wage and there are drivers out there who will tolerate working for such companies. Quote:
