Good luck bisquit75, you do not need to prove yourself to any one. There is only one person in this life, you need to constantly, try to improve and impress and that is "YOU".

Funny how so many think hauling gas is utopia. I did it for a total of 5 months and I hated it. Course, I'm weird. But that's the only job I ever walked off of. I couldn't wait to go back OTR.

I guess somebody has to do it. So thank you, Biscuit and all the other fuel haulers out there. Because you are doing it, I don't have to.

Everyone is different. Some like flatbed, some like dry van. Some like hauling tankers, and other like sitting at home on their duff, and collecting free hand outs from the government..

I do think it's utopia. Great pay. Work no more than 12 hours in a day really, off for two full days. You load yourself, unload yourself and all you have to do is throw some hoses. It doesn't get any better. But of course that does entail doing more than sitting on your ### all day. I can see why some people wouldn't like it, all that physical activity and all.

One of the best driving jobs, that I have had in almost 48 years of driving, was hauling fuel. Wished thousand times that I had not let my temper get the best of me one morning.
