    Yes, and FXNational. We're company boys.

    And BTW--the drivers got NO PAY CUT. So they didn't match our 401k for a year--big whoop. Mr. Smith knows who to take care of...and it's us. :biggrin_25514:

    I believe that lots of companies are using the economy as a guise to take things away and increase profits for upper management. Ofcourse, that's personal opinion.

    You are most likely correct--in most cases. However, at FX:

    CEO = 20% cut.

    Top Brass = 10% cut.

    Line managers = 5% cut.

    Drivers = NO PAY CUT, a few perks suspended(and a couple are already returning).

    These guys know which side their bread is buttered on, for sure. :biggrin_25525:

    with the exception of FedEx Ground doubles passing everybody ......... and I got a funny 4 u all........

    I was easing my tank south on 45 in the early hrs. of one morning and I start hearing this chatter on my radio. It's two FedEx drivers....ground guys. They always fly by me with their pups and their big KW's every night between Hou and Dal........ so anyway, I come upon them........ one is on the Sb shoulder and the other ? Overhead on a partially dismantled bridge ! Somehow he got through the barriers and up the approach and found the bridge gone ! So he's asking his bud how to back the pups down off the approach !!! All on 19!!!

    Mind you, I'm the drivers advocate.... I don't usually snicker at another's misfortune but this was too good. He was asking his bud on an open channel how to back the pups when there was no way. It was dark and the road was narrow. His only real option was to break em down and reposition them at the foot of the bridge. ( I don't know what he did )

    Too bad but too funny and I don't believe that a FedEx union driver would have been caught in a situation like this. That's the difference between .32 cpm and .52 cpm IMO.

    I will always believe that you get what you pay for!
