JENKINS TWP. – In the corporate world there are familiar names like IBM, Coca-Cola and Microsoft as well as the unfamiliar such as Michaels Inc.
Its 57-year-old owner, Ken Michaels, kept things simple when he named his business affiliated with package delivery giant FedEx.
“I’m a corporation,” he said Wednesday after the last of his 14 trucks left the terminal on Armstrong Road in the CenterPoint Commerce & Trade Park to deliver thousands of packages to homes, offices and factories from Berwick to Milford.

These guys are a bunch of dummies . FedEx Ground has all O/O trucks to avoid paying employee expenses . When single route contractors won lawsuits to be classified as employees FedEx eliminated single truck contracts . Multi-route contractors bear the expenses FedEx is unwilling to pay . These contractors also chance having their drivers contact the Teamsters to get organized . The more trucks they own , the greater the risk .
