FedEx driver found not guilty in crash

TAUNTON, MASS. (WPRI) - A six person jury has found the driver of a FedEx truck not guilty in connection with a deadly accident in Raynham back in 2006.
After a short deliberation in Taunton District Court , Charles Desmarais, 50, of Norton, was cleared of any charges of criminal wrongdoing stemming from the crash.
On December 28, 2006 Desmarais lost control of the delivery truck he was driving on Paramount Drive, in Raynham, and collided with a 2003 Chevy Cavalier, killing the driver, 28-year-old Jennifer Desrosiers of Taunton.
Desrosiers' three children were also hurt in the accident. Two of them have made a full recovery, while the third is partially paralyzed.
