Trailer The Truth about the Market

At the start of each new month the jobless numbers are released so we get a figure that they claim is below expectations and everyone is over the moon ? How we have to be careful in reading these figures the media pertray this as great however when they same the numbers were lower that is really a lie why? The number may be lower than last month so that part is correct however the overall unemployed rate has increased not decreased as many would assume So for example say in June there were 6 million unemployed people with an increase say of 5 hundred thousand so in July the unemployment figure is 6 million 499000 they say thats lower because in June it increased by 500 000 but in July it only increased by 499000 so thats good who are they really fooling not me thats for sure and hopefully not you because even though the number is lower the over all unemployment has still rizen by 499000 to 6 499000 which is higher than 6 000 000 isn't it? so no things aren't better there actually far worse unfortunatly, on the other hand if the overall unemployment rate had fallen from 6 000 000 to 5 600 000 than that indeed would definatly be good news. Hope your not confused but if all else fails hug your teddy .

PS heres the figures if you want to do the maths
JUNE JULY
5 500 000 6 000 000
+500 000 + 499 000
= 6 000 000 = 6 499 000
