All the loads I had booked were for Tuesday pick-up, and all 4 canceled. I had quoted all of them between $3.50-$4.00 mile and after I got the rate conformation sheet, they called and made some BS excuse and canceled. I know #### well they got someone to do it cheaper, so I just put those agents on my "do not work with" list..... lined up another crane run to KC on Tuesday so it's all good. I know I can get some good stuff from there with my normal 3 agents I deal with.

Oh I've got several good paying loads but you have to make a bunch of calls to make sure places will receive. Rate might look awesome until you have to play rolling warehouse because a place is closed.

Welcome to my world lately. I've got a long list of agent codes added to my do not haul list and a few TONU pending

Maybe one day you'll graduate to a full sized trailer!

You sure you don't mean 8' spread vs 10' instead of 10 vs 12? I've only seen one 12' spread ever and it was an O/O's reefer. I know a lot of states that don't allow any weight advantage to a short spread (<10') but I thought western Canada was the only ones that didn't recognize the a 10' spread.
Theirs alot of guys around here with 12 foot spread reefers and a few drop decks to.

About the only time you see a 12' spread is on a 50'+ trailer it seems. Don't really know if there is any advantage to it?

53's and 4's. They get tickets in some states here and their also because their not really 100% legal. They look 100 times better than that stupid set forward spread axle setup. Most people dont even notice them going down the road but set a 10 and a 12 side by side and they look huge. They seem to out number the 48's with a 10 over here but all the LTL places here wont bother with you unless you have at least a 53.

Well, got unloaded at the wind site, thank God! Left there at @1435 yesterday.
Now sat at home enjoying an adult beverage with the family.
