Tarps no matter how good looking, are not always a good thing.....
Ask NoTarps....He'll tell you.... -
I just use my 4' tarps to protect the coils anyways.....
It amazes me on plates how many brokers demand we tarp them and the receivers always say..."WTH...I didn't want that tarped!!!"skellr, supertruckerporkchop and 07-379Pete Thank this. -
Working Class Patriot and Mommas_money_maker Thank this.

I carried a large coil tarp with me because I hauled a lot 45k to 50k pound single coils. It was just pretty quick to throw it on their and a few bungees and your out the gate. I think I bought one for around $140 a few years ago.

I don't remember I got it at zamzow.com and it is the king size coil tarp.
-
If you haul a bunch of different size coils those tarps are almost worthless. My dad has two and only one was ever used, by myself a few times.
-
If you haul the same size coil order the tarp to fit and it may be worth while. But I have one the has been used twice.
SHC Thanks this. -
For coils i use coil bags and they work great. My coil tarps will fit a small coil up to a 48000lbs 6ft wide by 6ft high coil. Just through them over bungee em down and done. I used to use a regular steel tarp but after switching to the bags imo its the only way to tarp a coil.
SHC and PDI Graduate Thank this.
