As others have said, be very careful of hauling for % of the load. If you are starting out I would suggest mileage pay until you can find a honest company to haul percentage rates, I work for a man now at % but know exactly what it pays and what my cut will be so if you do not have that trust then go for miles.

I think Valley would work out fine for you. You know thier trucks are or were all leased to Great American Lines dont you?

i heard at valley their drivers are ALWAYS running illegal. i live like 15 min from valleys terminal and i speak to their drivers every once in awhile in my area... they said they make rly good money but only if they are willing to run illegal, which valley will teach you how to fudge your logs in their training LOL

also btc drivers if you could please throw some info my way.. is btcs minimum age requirement 21 or 23? and do they do standard urine test like trucking has always been or have they migrated to hair folicle testing? i can honestly say ive smoked some herb in the past 4 months.... nothing serious though, and im at my house getting a headchange not driving a big rig on the us highways getting high, never in a million years would i do that
