handsaw, socket sets, hammer, mini sledge etc. List 'em! Doesn't need to be flatbed specific.

3/8,1/2,3/4" socket sets, Gearwrench's up to 1 1/4", 1/2" impact that I run of my air tank, I've carried my 1" before, but felt it was overkill. Propane torch for thawing. MULTIMETER (I buy them by the handful at Harbor Freight for $3) Real crimpers and wire strippers. I try to carry everything I may need to fix a million mile, 12 year old truck.

Sounds like you carry same as I do. I put a clutch in my truck in holidays inn parking lot once. I had manager carry me to harbor freight to buy the jack and clutch. Paid what looked like a homeless man to help me.

Same here, plus an extra 50' of air hose for anything the trailer may need. Also those quick-fix air line reapir kits to get it to the repair shop. 4 pairs of visegrips, 3 different prybars, lots of electrical wire (10,14,16ga)

Add filter wrench, small pipe wrench, tape measure, those special Torq head screw-drivers for headlights and dash screws, allen wrenches, hack saw, magnet on a handle, one of those reach extender things that you use to retrieve dropped items in a place you cannot reach [ they have a button you push on a rod that opens and closes a small claw that grabs small things, ], extra flashlight w/ batteries, gloves, plastic wire ties, coupla hose clamps, empty gallon jug.
Better to have it and not need it , than need it and not have it.

I am sure I have forgot to list something but it all comes in handy.
