Ok.....Let's say you have an 8' tall load and the shipper requires you "TARP ALL LOADS!!!!".....But they don't have a tarping station......
Do you tarp or not?
Or do you call the broker or your company?

I would try to steer clear of any loads that require 8' tarps
But, in the event where I might, I would call the broker -
what is a tarping station?
snowman_w900 and CharlieK Thank this. -

thats why you carry a step ladder!
DEMO Thanks this. -
Depends on what the load is.
If it is stable, something like a lumber load, then yes, i would tarp it.
If it is going to be very unstable, like bagged products. then no. -
Now, I do almost exclusively heavy haul, so no tarps for me. Don't even have any on the truck -
The only way to tarp...
D.Tibbitt, SHC, Kansas and 1 other person Thank this. -
Until I joined this site, I had never heard of a tarping station. To me tarps are an accessorial charge, if the shipper is paying for tarps, they get them, if not, they stay in the tarp boxes.
BTW, I carry a 17 foot folding ladder. A hundred bucks well spent. -
