Anyone know the thread pitch and diameter on the screw in lights? The mounts are 25.00 each at some places and that is just crazy for a small mount, heck I could make them and make a fortune.

I bought a small relay that can turn ANY led light into a strobe. It was $12 atthe chrome shop and that's what I used for my grill mounted LED light strips (which were only $15 at the same chrome shop)

www.strobesnmore.com has them for $299. Compared to the regular incandescent spinny lights and the flashbulb style strobe lights, it's a deal IMO. I bought one for the last truck I had for $249, but they had a special on them at the time.

I could use one of those right now, apparently lost my led light and about to go into Illinois (tractor beacons aren't visible from behind). I got I55 from Arkansas to I255 in MO to find a replacement, anyone got an idea?

Forklift amber strobes listed for 25.00 each, they are bright and wonder if they could last since the forklifts are bounced around so much.

Have you guys seen the strobe lights the fit into the headlight mounts. Like these.
http://www.awdirect.com/hide-a-flash...its-and-parts/
Or one of these that can mount anywhere http://www.awdirect.com/maxxima-led-...ights-warning/
Of course your gonna have to buy the controller box, but they sure are a clean stealth mount.

Those are pretty neat, I know a towing company that has something like that installed in a few large car wreckers. Only hold back is if you install them in a light head you have to drill holes for them to fit. A sealed headlight system may leak if they are not 100% waterproofed after.
