I have lotsof offers from many companies. I don't like switching jobs so I'm trying to figure out the best one for me. Offers are from Decker, Lonestar, Keen, BTC, Stoughton, Tandem, Tennant, Henderson, Byod, TMC, Prime, Mavrick, and about any other flatbed company you can think of. Each one has it's pros and cons from the info I can get from the recruters. I'm wanting to know how much they actually get you home, what I can expect to gross each week (some companies are percentage based). I already have taken TMC, and Maverick off my list TMC for the reasons of to much BS or they decrease your pay, Maverick runs automatic trucks. I can careless if the trucks are set between 60-65 I see it if I need to go faster I should have left sooner.

It all depends on what you want most...And what you are willing to give up....You aren't going to get it all...

Where you live is going to be the biggest deciding factor.... I would go for Keen since they seem to do just about everything (flatbed, stepdeck, Lowboy, RGN, ect ect) but that would only be if you want to stay on the road for 2 weeks at a time and lived in the Northeast area.

Maverick seems to be ok if you live around the southern midwest.

Stay away from TMC, BTC and Tandem... not good at all from what I've heard.

Lonestar seems to go a lot of machinery and if you live in the south/southwest or southeast, they may be a great place to work.

I live in Indiana. I'm looking at all aspects of the company I go with. To me it's not just cents per mile if you aren't running miles. I'm also wanting to be home as much as possible. 2 weeks out would be the max I would stay out. As stated in my OP I was wanting to know how much these companies actually run you and how much they actually get you home. They have all said anywhere from every weekend to 2 weeks.

Being near Greencastle and off I-70, just about any of them are in your hiring area. I would go for a % pay company over a mileage company..... that's just me. More revenue for less miles driven and they have an incentive to keep their company trucks to less deadhead miles that way.

Buddy of mine works for Jones Brothers here in Missoula. He gets home every 10-14 days. Real nice equipment and great dispatch according to him.

    Hope it helps.
