Are there any flatbed Company,s out there where you can pull there trailers.
I had to sell my one and only flat bed to help my Mom pay off a Bankruptcy she had filed 5 years ago when my step Dad passed away.
She needed big money fast or face going back to court and possibly losing her home and her car.
I went through a divorce in 2007 all I got was my truck and trailer and all the bills to pay plus alimony plus child support.
So My credit is bad,, No one will rent or lease a trailer to me checked every where all said no.
So Basically, I have Truck,,, My own Authority,,, all Insurances ,,,and don't really want to lease to any one am wanting to keep my Authority Alive.
Any suggestions are Greatly Appreciated,,, Thanks to all my brothers on the open road .

so how are you going to keep your authority and pull another comapnies trailers.
i know you had to help your mom, but it shut your business down. you may not have a choice but to lease to someone, or else do the power only deals jb hunt and others offer.
if ya lease try mercer

Good Point. I am thinking that J.B. may be my only option.
There are two things to consider .
1. J.B. van freight is so cheap that after fuel and ifta taxes we are talking about .75 cents per mile. I am thinking I may have no choice but to do that till I can buy another flatbed.
2..My Truck is a flat top, Light, Low,,lean and mean,, perfect for flat bed but bad as a van puller. The wind drag pulls the fuel mileage down to about 6 mpg
where normally a 48 ft flat loaded with 50 thousand I can get 7.5 .. and better on lighter loads...Thanks Skateboardman and all that reply...
