Load leveler or load bridge for a step deck trailer.

What Snowwy is talking about is basically 2 pipe stakes. One on each side of trailer and they hold 4x4's to make the "leveler" or "bridge" .... I've seen them a few times, but they are not common. I personally would just buy the pre made Alumnium ones like you posted.

 

that's what i was hoping to originally get, SHC. but for the money and weight. i guess what i got would be better. just a little more time consuming to setup.



now, if i just had a name for the pipe stakes. so i can figure where to get another set.

 

In most cases, I'm assuming my step can haul nearly all long dimension flatbed loads?

 

Yeah, as long as the shipper will load a step with levelers. We used to haul knocked down steel buildings for a company until they said no more levelers.
