I was a Pup. Hauled a load of onions in a brand new Great Dane reefer. I was trainee. Trainer would not turn on the reefer. They had to destroy the box, no one would load it. 113 degrees makes onions nasty. Steam cleaning, bleach, made no difference. Trainer lost his job.

id bet there is even more coming out of yuma. -
Saw a guy between LA and San Diego driving an old schoolbus stacked full of onions. I assume he was the farmer, guess he didn't want to shell out $1.50/mile to some greedy trucker
