I have Progressive on my car .I don't have any bad luck with them.I also have the added road brkdown and it has come in handy a couple times. But with my last company many brokers told them no because of their safety rating but never heard of no because of your insurance company.

Because they sell policy's with so many restrictions. Had someone hit one of my O/O's in MO,his policy was CA only.

well i know all about this, without going on for a hour ill sum it up progressive is loosing there @ $$ on insurance it cost them $1.80 to make $1.00. when they got into the market they insured everyone cheaper than anyone else could. Progressive has gone up on there rates 20-40% for some companies. If you are new your going to pay $$$. Progressive is trying to not loose there rear, only 3 states do a unlimited radius Texas is one of them

What progressive started doing is if your outside your radius and have a problem they audit your IFTA to see how much time and miles your driving.most policies have a 250-500 mile radius if you have more than 15% of your miles outside of this radius and you have a problem out side of that mark you have big problems because there doing what they can to get out of loosing anymore money

I have progessive been with them five years now and have never really had a problem ive had 3 claims now all on my comp deer trailer totalled out ect i was told by my guy the only reason my insurance has not gone up is im INC, i have good credit and my DOT/MC numbers are 8 years old

Personally, I wouldn't touch Progressive Insurance with a 10' pole...not even if they gave me a free policy. I just don't like their p******** affiliations.

A while back the State of Florida refused to accept them as proof of insurance when I renewed my IRP. Took several days for State to agree, I am told now all is well. Had Progressive pay one claim, no problem, but I switched to Northland. They understand trucks.

Yes Progressive is bad and known not to pay on claims, their ratings are terrible as well as Gramercy is the same way.

Great west Casualty is one of the better of them all
