are you pulling flats, steps, RGns of Van?

I found a place in Indiana on the net had great prices on chains, straps etc. can't remember the name .if you use chains only buy ratchet binders,
I bought chain by the barrel,,put a chain hook on one end and an open hook on the other couple 10ft, six 14ft and a couple 20ft chains,,never buy smaller than 3/8 alloy,,if you are pulling an RGN get all 1/2 alloy

You may want to look on craigslist. Every now and then there is a flatbedder selling his stuff. I prefer snap binders myself but everyone is different.

I found that tri city canvas has very good prices!

Look around on craigslist though. I just bought a ton of gear from a member on here. Headache rack, chains, binders, 2 and 4 inch straps and tons of 2 inch ratchets. a whole lot of stuff, especially for what I paid. He said he had his stuff on craigslist for a while too.

    jldilley and 281ric Thank this.

I'll second Tri City Canvas (Granite City, Illinois). Steve and Herm run a good shop. Prices are fair and the quality of work is great and usually very quick. They'll have everything you need to outfit your open-deck operation. :biggrin_25520:

I've bought a few things from Tarpstop. Prices seem ok and they showed up fast.

Tarpstop is the other. For chains and binders, there prices beat tri city

myteeproducts.com I believe they are the cheapest on tarps, maybe other stuff. I like their tarps because they put d-rings on all 4 sides on the steel tarps. some places you have to pay extra to get them on the short side.

Tricity canvas first choice, second would be Tarp stop.
As far as used securment equipment, binders yea, tarps yea, chains straps No way I'm using someone else stuff, you have no idea what they id with it and how abused it was.
Have to agree Parhump, if your pulling an RGN 1/2 chain hooks and grab hooks. but on any platform 3/8 or better chain.
