    This isn't mine, it was parked next to me.

    He had belly straps every few layers but every belt ran from curbside to road side. Guess which way the load started leaning. [​IMG]

    I had a load a pipe in a pyramid do that to me once. Mine was much worse then that. It was coated pipe and couldnt chain my pipe stakes together. I had enough sense to leave them up. On my second day all of a sudden the truck shook,.. I looked in my mirror and the pipe was leaning on the traffic side. 130 more mi to make delivery. I did a rats nest of chains hooked into the ends to hold the pipe together. Set my alarm for 1am,.. puckered up and prayed for smooth roads. Made delivery,.. but swore I'd never do pipe stacked like that ever again. Definitely had an Angel watching over me for that load.
