    Hello forum.

I'm getting v boards for the first time and I'm curious what lengths to get. I know not all loads take up the same space on the flatbed, so is it best to get different lengths ( some 8' some 6' and maybe some 4')? Or just get all one length?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Kind of depends on your loads. Mine are 4 foot, but I did Supersacks and cemnt, bricks etc...

I'd get a mix just in case. You never know hen you may only need 4 foot or 12. You could also by some 12's and cut them to length if needed shorter. Wouldn't be too hard to buy some wood at home depot or Lowe's and make your own as well. To 2 by 1's would work and you could use rope to tie them together.

Get 8's and bring a saw. Always works for me.

I've about 20 of them in my garage if you want them. Everytime I haul the barrels for the DOE, they make new ones lol

Do they glow at night in the garage so you can find without turning on the lights? lol

    Make your own.
Use 1x2's or 2x4's. If you make them with 2 bys You can also stack them under your load for dunnage. Cut some old 4"strap 9" long and nail/screw to each piece of wood like a hinge.
