Does anybody have a spreadsheet that list oversize requirements for each state. I've gone to MN SD and ND dot websites and am looking at their info. MN has a nice pamphlet that summarizes things. However the other two just have links to their regulations. I am looking for something for myself and the other drivers that I work with that outlines the individual state flagging lighting ect... Rules

Sammons has a decent quick ref. book on their website you can download as a pdf. It's not gospel but a place to start.

Your permit ultimately dictates your lighting and flagging. That little yellow book isn't a bad place to look for suggestions as to stay a permit might fall in your lap with, though.

I understand the permit has the requirements. However, I want to make sure I have the proper equipment and want to review the laws prior to getting the permit.

Carry enough flags to flag the load (4 corners unless over length too).
Flags for the corners of the truck and trailer.
Signs for truck and trailer, truck size not pilot car size.
    Strobe lights for both.
Do that and you are covered pretty much anywhere for running daytime. As far as running times etc, the permit will dictate that, but it will become second nature after a short time.

as others said, the permit is the best place to look. states change their regs all the time, so any cheat sheet/bok may be out dated. Your permit should be up to date with current regs.

You could also find the provision sheets for the states that require them, you're gonna need them anyway. Most of the time they have that info on the provision sheet.
