Hello everyone! I'm looking for ideas on how to mount a ladder carrier to my new flatbed and would like your input. How did you mount your ladder carrier? Did you buy a kit or just buy some brackets from Home Depot? My trailer has some pre-drilled holes that would work well and I thought of just aquiring some steel and bending it to shape at my buddy's forge. Any way, I'm interested in hearing how you approached the problem. As usual, any advice is appreciated.

I just strapped mine to the rails between the frames, there are crossmembers to put it on. No one stole it because no one looked under there.

Hmm. I never considered that someone may want to steal it.

I put a little giant type ladder on top of a toolbox.

Might try reading thru the thread " tips and tricks of flatbedding"
There was some good pictures and ideas.MJ1657 Thanks this. -
I just threw mine in my sidebox. Might try to move it to the bulkhead eventually.

Great tips, everyone. Thanks for the feedback.

Mine sits between the chain holders in the chain trough of my headache rack secured by a ratchet strap.

I stick mine behind the passenger seat. That thing cost like $120, no way I'm leaving it exposed to the elements and the thieves.

My thoughts on a ladder is if its not convenient to get to you will not use it as much and you will take chances that might get you banged up.
