I have a 9200 with a Cummins ism and a 10 speed autoshift, when I pulled a flat I could get 7-7.5 mpg. Now that I pull a connie I get 5.5-6 what can I do to improve it?
Better mpg from International 9200

I have a 12.7 detroit 470 pre egr,13 speed double over, not turned up,im guessing it has something to do with the Aerodynamics of the trailer,Flats get decent mileage if not loaded too heavy

Would a wing on top help much?
-
Did u weigh the trailer yet?

Less than 1000 more than my flat hybrid.

That's a good question. Were you thinking Turbo wing??? Another option is getting a roof fairing.

The truck had a bubble roof and I would rather take a cut in economy than put it back on.i don't think one of those big turbowings would look good on it. I was thinking more like a smaller fiberglass wing like I've seen on some trucks.
The Challenger Thanks this. -
Thinking more like the wing this truck has but not sure where to find one.
