How long is the piece? I probably would put it on and not worry about it.
-
Ya its not that long 15 ft I think still going to have to have over weight permets going to put me around 83000
-
Look at plate with VIN stamped on it, Gross wt. that your trailer is built to haul will be stamped on it most are 80,000 but fleet type may only have 60 or 70,000 frame rating?
-
ya I tried that the plate is wore out to the point I can't read it
-
You only weigh 20000 empty?
-
you are going to need more axles. the trailer probably weighs around nine to ten thousand pounds alone and your truck is going to weigh around 22 23 so that would put you closer to 96 thousand then 83,000
-
The trailer will not last, if not crack in front of your first trailer axle from weight.. Due to the design, The trailer has a tendency to. " hammock swing" with heavy short loads. The frame& axle connections don't do well to metal fatigue. Or swinging as you drive down the road.
Just a heads up
How wide is this press? Will it touch both frame rails on the deck? -
-
Ya will use 4x4's always do, don't have exact measurements yet but its around 15ft long and 6 ft wide going to ky from ga
