Got to agree with you, unless you have proof, this could be a slander lawsuit waiting to happen.

Nopark more to look out for

I have heard most of all that others have posted from the drivers how have posted them, with one exception ( That posted by Iron eagle ) heard rumurs about that post, They have turned down there trucks from 67mph to 64mph (not 65 as they said in the letters sent out to the drivers )
They do not pay you to get repairs or services on the truck or tralier; if you break down on the road they will pay for the motel room, they will not cover any food or taxi cab, They will want you to keep and eye on the reffer fuel;
They have a problem with findiing loads after you delivery, You will sit and wait for your next load up to 2 or more days: I have waited for 9 days for a load.
They spend too much money on trying to get new drivers to sign on; then to keep the drivers they have......

Thats all for now

thanks for the update

Sorry to hear about your lay over r their lack of running you. That is one of the reasons I started this thread about this company in the first place. There was not any news (good, bad or indifferent) till I worked for them. I wanted to give some insight before anyone had bad luck with them. We are a big family and we need to keep our bother and sisters in the know so they would waste there time and "money" on low rate companies. I hope you the best of luck in your new company and hopefully it will be better.

Florilli

Florill trucks Top speed 64mph. They dispatch at 70 mph. average speed 53 mph. Dispatchers say in a 75 mph state we can log it at 75 mph. They want the driver to run 800 plus miles a day. They pick your route and fuel stops. They will route you 300 miles longer to save a few pennys on the price per gallon, They don't want the driver to idle the trucks, too stay cool in the summer or stay warm in the winter.
You will seat in Ca, or Tx. for 4 days or more waitng for a load.
They have a poor maintaince program, The driver calls in to get a problem fixed it truns into a hassle.
They say they pay layover pay I have never seen it on the paystub.
The miles are low your lucky to get 2500 a week.

Yea they have new trucks, and plan to get more,

Your first 90 days they will give you the miles and perplans so you stay rolling, after that the games begain..

Home time they say every two weeks for two days, they don't get you home on time, when its time to come out, you may stay at home for a week waiting.....
So think twice before you sign on here....

My husband works for Florilli. Not by choice. He ran under a low clearance even tho his company and the customer said thats the way to go. So they fired him and he rearended a car that stopped in front of him in our car, so nobody will hire him. He says these are the drivers who work for Florilli. The ones who don't have much choice even though they may be excellent drivers. And I used to team with him so I do know he is a good trucker.

my experience

I started with Florilli last summer and Im still working for them, but am currently looking for another job. I haven't really had any problems as far as safety is concerned with them. I definitely have hauled loads for them where I creatively logged and boogied to get it there. Especially produce loads out of CA. Ever since the produce started out of Yuma and has now moved to Cali waiting hasn't been too bad. I live in CA too and alot of the time I'll go home for like 3 days be ready to leave on monday and dont get anything until tue. or wed. and that is getting old, and its even worse in the winter. If your someone who wants to get alot of miles and stay really busy Florilli isn't the co. Once in awhile you'll get a 3000 mile week, but not very often. The thing I do like about them is the longer runs, but then you sit in between them. The trucks are being turned down to 62 as well, so needless to say I will be avoiding the Peterbilt in Davenport, IA. I actually like the way the services work with them. They get all services done at 3 speedco locations. Walcott, IA, Council Bluffs, IA, and Joplin, MO. Ive never had any problems with my truck. Im driving a 2008 Peterbilt 388 with the new engine which doesnt pull a hill worth a ####, but it has ran well without any issues. Alot of our other drivers have been towed countless times, but knock on wood mine is running good. They definitely will harass you about idling your truck, but they have to nowadays. The way I look at it im going to be comfortable. If im hot im going to turn the truck on. There 2007 trucks have Tri Pak generators which are great but there are not ordering anymore on the new trucks, I guess they have been more trouble than there worth. They pretty much leave me alone and let me do my job. To give you an idea of what you might make here, my current YTD earnings are $15,000 and I take alot of time off, and sit alot. They start everyone off at .35 cpm no matter what your experience is and give .05 cpm every 6 months. Anways thats my 2 cents. Later.
