LandStar
Hi,
What are the requirements to haul stuff for LandStar?? Do you need to have a certain amount of time with your MC# ???
Thanks.
I ask because I recently sent an application packet to them and they said they couldn't let me haul for them...They didn't give me a reason though.

There are no time requirements. They require $1mil liability and $100k cargo insurance and that's about it. Do you have any violations? Call them up and ask or try again.

If you're CSA score is below their threshold, then you can't haul for them.

What level are you talking about? About a year ago they refused us due to OOIDA insurance. Our CSA score should be just about perfect so far. Should we re-apply? Even though we are happy with couple of brokers we currently use, its good to have choices.
