Has anyone in this forum actually read any of his books and can verify whether or not they are worth reading?

 

Who's got time for that? When you're running your own truck you will see. When it's busy you're in the game. When it's not you're looking for signs it's time to get back in. That leaves little time for BS. You've got family and business. Books from "gold rush" truckers don't fit in that picture..

Easier said by someone who has done it. Not so easy for someone who has never negotiated anything in his life. Don't think you that someone in my position should be getting their hands on any kind of knowledge and advice before they go into it? And are you having a bad day, RC? It doesn't seem like you to burst into a thread and start knockin people.

 

Yes, bought his negotiation book just to see what it was about. It was like $20 and a complete joke. He self publishes so he will not order you book from the printing till he get several orders. A lot of rehashed information. He is all over Linkin.

What drivers me crazy about him is he will have a tease about getting some good information and a link to his blog and then all you get is a sales pitch and buy the book to learn what he was claiming the blog was about.

I started getting their emails a few months back. Always seemed a little bit off to me. Sucks you can't just put your good faith in somebody to deliver you a product. Hope you get your money back.
