We use Ansonia because the access is free through our factoring company. BUT THEIR DATABASE IS HUGE including a lot of direct shippers. We've used Compunet in years past but I think Ansonia is better. But that's only one guy's opinion.

Truckers Edge load board has the broker`s name the days to pay and a credit score beside the load posting. Also can run their MC# through the FMCSA database to see if their bond has been rovoked.

Has any one dealt with Knight Brokerage, I see a load posted by them way below market from here Columbus OH. Would you do the load for that price on a good day??? Its about 100 miles dead head and 454 loaded miles. DAT is showing rate around $1325, and it is going to Boonie land off of the highway with all kind of hills.

I've done a lot of loads with Knight Brokerage, some of their agents are easy to deal with it...actually I would say most of them will give an additional $200-300 on a run like that one if you're persistent. I wouldn't do that run for less than $1500 unless you already have a good paying backhaul from Kirkwood.

But overall IMO Knight Brokerage is one of the best paying brokers out there.

    Good luck!!
