Hey guys,
Does anyone know how to properly validate a carrier? How do you go about making sure they are legit?

If you do not know, or do not have the inclination to call the IRS, DOT, ect: to validate, you should indeed not even venture into bushiness...

Many brokers subscribe to Carrier411 in order to "validate" carriers....also I guess you could ask for references from said carriers. However no one should ever really put down a bad reference.

You can see how much liability and cargo insurance they have and from which company. You can see if they have any undelivered mail. You can see their fax number and duns number if they provided one)
