Carroll Fulmer

    So some trucks i have based in NC did a few loads for Carroll Fulmer last year. Started calling about payment at 40 days. First person we talked to said they were entered as a do not pay and we needed to talk to someone else and transferred to their voice mail. Multiple calls to this person and never a call back. Over 60 days now and we are finally told that they mixed up our MC# with someone who had stolen a load from them.

    End result is they say the will cut a check today and mail it on friday. So when did mail start going out just on friday's? As of now they refuse to overnite the check.

    Oh, and due to our complaint they threaten to change us to DNU.

    No need to go to the bond, by the time i file everything the check will be here. Just pretty poor results in rectifying a mistake on their part.

    First time i've ever used them. Managed to survive for quite a few years without them, sure i'll manage if i never do again.

    Main thing is just the general attitude about it. 3 weeks and no one will talk to you and then upset that i filed a complaint? That was the only way they found their mistake?

    That name rang a bell so I looked them up. We did two loads for them back in 2012 that were not memorable. Both payments posted at 35 days.

    That said, I'm with you. They're clearly covered up with too many carriers desperate for punishment to be bothered with doing the right thing by you.

    As i said, i'm sure i'll have the check sometime next week(make the check friday and actually mailed monday)just that they are making zero effort to rectify their mistake. Or to at least apoligize for it. If they had offered to overnight it i would have said that mailing it friday would be fine.

    Makes you wonder what would happen if there really was a problem.

    Did they "threaten" to black list you on the phone or in e-mail ? And what did you say?

    I'd put them on my own list......

    When they didn't return the first few calls they went on our DNU. When they threatened us I just laughed and said that we beat them to it.
