Freight broking for dummies

    Started training for Stevens transport to go over the. Road , realized the truck life wasn't for me , but still very interested in being a broker , please provide as much info as possible on this , the more comprehensive the better , the only thing I know is I need a Brokering liscense for a couple hundred dollars

    If ya cant truck you got no business brokering! I f you cant even finish trucking school definitely no business brokering or trucking

    Not true. 99% of all brokers have never even sat in an 18 wheeler.

    TQL are a bunch of liars. I've dealt with them many times where they lied. I've shown up a few times and turned around when I find out my 20' load weighing 15,000 is actually 48' long 47,500, 8' tall and needs to be tarped.

    They always list the loads as being picked up and dropped off in another town. That's their favorite thing to do. You don't get the real pickup and delivery info until your ready to drive there then you find out the whole trip is 200 miles more when they tell you the real start and end points.
