    TQL & C. H. Robinson are some of the bigger brokers and in my experience they tend to low ball you on the rate. I have had good luck with Landstar, but there are different divisions of Landstar Ligon, Global, Ranger. Also I found the smaller companies give you more room to negotiate the rate and will pay better. Availability of trucks in a area is usually going to dictate the rates, less trucks better rates.

    skip the middle man (broker) go direct and eliminate them..
